11/20/2023 0 Comments Using sourcetree to backup my projects![]() ![]() The local checked-out versions are itself in a backup, so that everything is safe and sane. Then my code is getting reviewed and after approval merged. As soon as I am done, I squash (rebase) my commits to one semantical unit and offer a merge ( pull-request in github-lingo). I am a frequent committer and I develop in a feature branch from my forked master. There you are your own master and could adjust your workflow to your needs and even push -force if you have to. Our typical workflow requires each developer having forked repositories of the projects we are currently working on.
